Basketball in The Air
Named by Esquire magazine as one of Three Books Every Man Should Read, Hoopfest board member and former Elite division winner Shann Ray Ferch's collection of 10 short stories called American Masculine is a tribute to life and family and basketball. It's a book for women and for men and for basketball players. The book includes Native American basketball legends Jonathan Takes Enemy, Elvis Old Bull, and Joe Pretty Paint, as well as glorious dunk details of Shann's high flying (45-inch vertical leap) brother Kral.
